BRAND EXPERIENCE IN A BOX
To celebrate Moroccanoil’s exciting debut at Ulta Beauty, we created an unboxing experience designed to be bold, buzzworthy, and impossible to ignore. Rooted in the iconic Moroccanoil x Ulta color world, where vibrant orange becomes a symbol of ritual and self-care. The concept pairs saturated color blocking with embossed textures, elevated typography, and playful takes on everyday beauty moments. From oversized statement accents to tactile, joy-driven details, every element was crafted to spark instant excitement, irresistible shareability, and lasting brand love as influencers discovered five hero products inside.
DESIGN DETAIL SPOTLIGHT
Inspired by the Ulta shopping experience, the vessel takes the form of a reimagined beauty basket, complete with custom product fitments and wrapped in an illustrated sleeve showcasing Moroccanoil’s signature essentials and everyday indulgences. A Moroccanoil scarf adds a chic and playful twist tied to the handle, paired with a custom keychain modeled after a hero product for an elevated, collectible touch. Inside, the gift note appears in the brand’s signature turquoise, while the product list is designed as an Ulta-style shopping receipt. The experience continues from doorstep to unbox with full-color custom tape and sticker labels that make the mailer feel like a moment before it’s even opened.
