BRAND EXPERIENCE IN A BOX
To amplify buzz around the third instalment of Royal Salute’scollaboration with designer Harris Reed, strategy was centered on translating Reed’s theatrical, gender-fluid aesthetic into a sculptural packaging moment. The box was designed not just as a vessel, but as a collectible object,balancing Royal Salute’s heritage codes with Reed’s modern royalty narrative. A rigid sliding lid format housed a custom diffuser and plinth - laser etched with gold-foil inlay. Bespoke diffuser cones, inspired by the whiskey’s tasting notes blended a sense of ceremony with product enjoyment. Architectural and intentional, echoing the grandeur of couture presentation, every design decision was made to position the piece as a luxury keepsake.
DESIGN DETAIL SPOTLIGHT
Layered materiality amplified the sense of drama and depth.To the exterior, uncoated papers were elevated with gold foil embossing and refined print detailing, to create a striking contrast. Inside, velvet mounted custom inserts nestled the marble diffuser and mahogany plinth. The unboxing experience was designed with tactile richness front-of-mind, culminating in a sensorial, regal reveal that felt unmistakably Royal Salute.
